Sign of the times: Harry Styles’ L.A. show tonight rescheduled ‘due to band illness’
Harry Styles will perform his latest single “Tranquility Base.” It’s been rescheduled, but the show is still taking place.
The 25-year-old solo star will perform the tune as part of a new tour this weekend, according to a statement on his website.
It’s unclear when the gig will take place, but Styles “agreed to perform in Los Angeles on the evening of Saturday June 6th. The tour will begin on Saturday, June 13th 2014, in Los Angeles.”
Styles was originally slated to perform at a high-profile club in Downtown L.A. that was cancelled last year due to “incidents with a patron.”
At the time, Styles’ manager said he “will be rescheduling dates due to band illness.”
Earlier in 2012, Styles was forced to cancel his performance in Mexico, where he had earlier canceled a performance in Dubai, due to a “concert with the band in a different country [being] cancelled.”
He had earlier canceled performances in both London and New York with his band.
His current tour includes four shows in the U.S., where he opens for The Rolling Stones.
