C.I.A. Director Warns Russian Counterpart Against Using Nuclear Weapons Against US Citizen”
A Russian general warned that Russia might use nuclear weapons against the United States, a newspaper reported Sunday.
The Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, said that Russian agents can be easily used against the United States, “just like they were used during World War II”.
“Russia will be able to strike any target across the whole US territory in a very short time, due to the number of Russian nuclear weapons”, the newspaper Sovetskaya Rossiya reported.
“It was not a secret, that, according to this information, Russia would be able to use nuclear weapons against the Americans. Now if this information was not provided by Russian agents”, the newspaper added.
It was reported earlier this year that Russia was about to produce and test a new nuclear-capable long-range cruise missile – the Sarmat, which could carry nuclear-tipped missiles.
